The five different trim levels for the C-Class start with the C 300 and the C 300 4Matic. It has 17-inch wheels, a sunroof, and automatic windshield wipers. The AMG C 43 comes with an electronic trunk closing system and keyless entry. It also adds a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels, and adaptive suspension dampers. Both the AMG C 63 and the C 63 S have much of the same equipment as the AMG C 43.

The C 300 and the C 300 4Matic come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 255 horsepower. The AMG C 43 has a 3.0-liter V-6 engine with 385 horsepower. The AMG C 63 has a 4-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine that produces 469 horsepower and gets 479 pound-feet of torque, while the C 63 S has the same engine, delivers 503 horsepower and gets 516 pound-feet of torque. The first two engines have a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the turbo engine has a high-performance 9-speed automatic.

The C-Class offers selectable driving modes, with the Comfort mode offering one of the most luxurious rides in its class. The Sport and Sport+ modes change the throttle response to make the ride more fun, and Eco will increase fuel economy. The base engine in the C-Class will get you up to 60 miles per hour in just 5.7 seconds, and the turbo engines get you there even faster!

The C-Class sedan has room for five people, while both the coupe and the convertible will fit four. In the front, the seats are comfortable and supportive with extra bolstering, and in the back, there's plenty of room for rear-seat passengers. The cabin has many elegant touches including real wood trim and standard leatherette on the seats.

The 2019 model has a 10.25-inch display screen in all models except the C-Class sedan which has a 7-inch screen. The Mercedes COMAND infotainment system comes standard along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as two USB ports.

A rearview camera comes standard in all C-Class models, and you can add the Driver Assistance Package to the entry-level model for more advanced safety features. This comes with forward collision mitigation, lane keep assist, a navigation-based speed limit assist system, and adaptive cruise control. You can also get rear parking sensors, front parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and forward cross-traffic alert. There's a head-up display available along with a surround-view camera system and the Pre-Safe Plus system that detects rear-impact collisions.
