2018+ Mercedes-Benz E-Class
The E-Class from Mercedes-Benz offers the luxury you expect from a Mercedes along with new innovation to make your ride even better. For 2019, there are two new models in the E-Class lineup with a new powertrain to go with them. A new Nappa leather steering wheel is also available for 2019, along with a rear safety package. Here is a closer look at the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Trim Levels

The E-Class comes in four different body styles that include a five-passenger sedan, a seven-passenger wagon, a coupe, and convertible. The base trim is the E 300 with 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, a sunroof, and auto-dimming side door mirrors. The E 450 adds a power liftgate to the wagon and a panoramic sunroof to the coupe. The Sport and the Luxury trims have larger wheels, and if you bump up to the AMG E 63, it has 19-inch wheels. Step up to the AMG E 63 S for upgraded brakes.
Engine

There are four engines available for the E Class. The base is a four-cylinder turbo for the E 300 that gets 241 horsepower. The E 450 has a twin-turbo V-6 with 362 horsepower, and the AMG models each get even more power. The E 53 has a 3.0-liter turbo six-cylinder that delivers 429 horsepower, and the E 63 S has a turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that generates 603 horsepower.
Performance

The E Class performance depends largely on the model and engine. The base powertrain has plenty of power and will get you up to 60 mph in just over six seconds, but the new E 450 has even more power. Bumping up to the AMG models gets you Mercedes performance engines, which also come with all-wheel drive for even better control. No matter which E-Class you have, it'll be comfortable and sporty.
Interior

The E-Class cabin is sleek, comfortable, and luxurious. The seats are ultra-comfortable and come standard with MB-Tex synthetic leather. Genuine leather and upgraded Nappa leather are available along with other upgrades including headed armrests, a heated wood steering wheel, massaging front seats, and soft-close doors.
Standard technology in the base E-Class includes a 12.3-inch display screen in the center of the dash, the COMAND infotainment system, a touch pad controller, and navigation. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also come standard along with two USB ports. Available options include a wireless charging pad, satellite radio, and a 13-speaker Burmester stereo.
Safety Features

All the E-Class models have a rearview camera, and every model comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic braking, and a drowsy driver alert system. The Convenience Package adds blind-spot monitoring and comes standard with the AMG models. There's also a Driver Assistance Package available with added safety features, such as evasive steering assist, active lane-change assist, active brake assist, and cross-traffic monitoring. Automatic high beams are also available along with a head-up display, active speed limit assist, and active parking assist that works for both parallel and perpendicular parking.
